This website uses the Privacy Suite for WordPress from Complianz to collect records of consent. For this functionality your IP address is anonymized and stored in our database. For more information, see the Complianz Privacy Statement.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile (hereinafter referred to as ‘Turnstile’) on this website to protect our contact forms. The provider is Cloudflare Inc, 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (hereinafter referred to as ‘Cloudflare’).

Turnstile is used to check whether our contact form is submitted by a human or by an automated programme. To do this, Turnstile analyses various browser characteristics of the visitors. The analysis begins automatically when the contact form is visited and may contain personal data (your IP address). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Cloudflare.

The data is stored and analysed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protecting our contact form from misuse and spam. Consent can be revoked at any time.

We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. The data obtained from this is used to optimize our website and advertising measures.

Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes the website usage data on our behalf and is contractually obliged to take measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the processed data.

During your visit to the website, the following data, among others, is transmitted to Google

  • Pages viewed
  • Your behavior on the pages (e.g. length of stay, clicks, scroll depth)
  • Your approximate location (country and city)
  • Technical information such as browser, internet provider, end device and screen resolution
  • Source of origin of your visit (i.e. via which website or advertising medium you came to us)

This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of data protection cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU.
Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognized on future visits to the website.
The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which makes it possible to analyze pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely. If you do not agree with the collection, you can prevent this by installing the browser add-on once to deactivate Google Analytics or by rejecting the cookies via our cookie settings dialog.

The provider of this website and its pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser communicates to us automatically. The information comprises:

  • The type and version of browser used
  • The used operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • The hostname of the accessing computer
  • The time of the server inquiry
  • The IP address
  • This data is not merged with other data sources.

This data is recorded on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in the technically error free depiction and the optimization of the operator’s website. In order to achieve this, server log files must be recorded.

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass these data on without your consent.

These data are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is required for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries submitted to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if it has been obtained.

The data sent by you to us via contact requests remain with us until you request us to delete, revoke your consent to the storage or the purpose for the data storage lapses (e.g. after completion of your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
When entering data in our contact form, the following demographic data will be stored such as e.g.:

  • Name, first name, address, email address, date of birth

This data is used for the application process and the storage period is max. 3 months. In the case of a longer storage period, the consent of the person concerned is explicitly obtained.

5. TLS encryption with https

We use HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure stands for “secure hypertext transfer protocol”) to transfer data tap-proof on the Internet.
This means that the complete transmission of all data from your browser to our web server is secured – no one can “listen in”.

Thus, we have implemented an additional layer of security and fulfill data protection by design of technology Article 25(1) DSGVO).
By using TLS (Transport Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the Internet, we can ensure the protection of confidential data.

You can recognize the use of this protection of data transmission by the small lock symbol at the top left of the browser to the left of the Internet address (e.g., beispielseite.de) and the use of the scheme https (instead of http) as part of our Internet address.

If you want to know more about encryption, we recommend the Google search for “Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure wiki” to get good links to further information.
